Interface Overview
Get familiar with the Bulk Product Editor interface to maximize your productivity. This guide covers all the main sections and features of the app.
Main Dashboard
When you open Bulk Product Editor, you'll see the main dashboard with several key areas:
Top Navigation Bar
- Dashboard: Overview of your store and recent activities
- Products: Main product editing interface
- History: View and manage your edit history
- Settings: App configuration and preferences
- Help: Documentation and support resources
Quick Stats Panel
The dashboard shows important metrics:
- Total Products: Number of products in your store
- Recent Edits: Number of products edited in the last 7 days
- Pending Changes: Scheduled edits waiting to be applied
- Backup Status: Last backup date and status
Products Interface
The Products section is where you'll spend most of your time:
Filter Panel (Left Sidebar)
Use filters to find specific products:
- Product Type: Filter by product categories
- Vendor: Filter by brand or supplier
- Tags: Filter by product tags
- Price Range: Set minimum and maximum prices
- Inventory: Filter by stock levels
- Status: Active, draft, or archived products
Product Grid (Center)
The main area displays your products in a table format:
- Checkbox Column: Select products for bulk editing
- Product Image: Thumbnail of the main product image
- Title: Product name (clickable to edit)
- SKU: Product identifier
- Price: Current product price
- Inventory: Current stock level
- Status: Product status (Active/Draft/Archived)
Action Panel (Right Sidebar)
When products are selected, the action panel appears:
- Bulk Edit Options: Choose what to edit
- Preview Changes: See changes before applying
- Apply Changes: Execute the bulk edit
- Save as Template: Save edit settings for reuse
Edit Modes
Quick Edit Mode
For simple changes:
- Select products using checkboxes
- Choose the field to edit from the dropdown
- Enter the new value
- Click "Apply Changes"
Advanced Edit Mode
For complex changes:
- Click "Advanced Edit" button
- Use the spreadsheet-like interface
- Edit multiple fields simultaneously
- Apply conditional logic and formulas
Batch Edit Mode
For large-scale operations:
- Use filters to select product groups
